N2 - An optical measurement method of oral mucosa moisture based on near-infrared absorption spectroscopy is proposed. A measurement setup composed of a white light source, an optical fiber probe, and a fiberoptic spectrometer is fabricated and firstly, biological samples simulating oral mucosa are measured to obtain calibration plot. Then moisture of lip mucosa surface is successfully measured by using the proposed system.
