Abstract
The surface morphology and the relevant angular dependence of Jc were measured for YBa2Cu3O7 films prepared by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The shoulder of Jc(θ{symbol}) was observed only for the films which have the surface morphology with voids. We show that the shoulder of Jc(θ{symbol}) is explained qualitatively by the columnar-shaped precipitates of Y2Cu2O5.
