Abstract

In this paper, we propose the fabrication of multi fluorescence sensor pillars with different sizes in microfluidic chip for simultaneous sensing of calcium, pH and temperature changes. Polyethylene (glycol)-diacrylate (PEG-DA) mixed with different fluorescent dye (fluo-3, FITC, Lumidot 480) was injected into the channel of chip respectively and exposed to UV to fabricate different sensor pillars (calcium sensor, pH sensor and temperature sensor). The fluorescence responses of the sensor pillars to calcium, pH and temperature have been detected using a laser confocal microscopy. The calibration results show that the different sensor pillars can respond to calcium, pH and temperature simultaneously.
