N2 - The influences on the crystal sizes and morphology of organic microcrystals have been investigated carefully by controlling experimental conditions such as temperature and added surfactant in the reprecipitation method. As a result, polydiacetylene and perylene nano-wire crystals could be fabricated successfully. The formation mechanism of nano-wire crystals and their optical properties were discussed in detail.
