Neutron diffraction experiments in a pulsed high magnetic field

Abstract

Neutron diffraction experiments up to 16T have become possible by the combination of a repeating pulsed magnetic field and a pulsed neutron source. This system should be useful for the study of magnetic phase transitions and magnetic structures in high magnetic fields above 10 T.
