Abstract

The electrical resistivities of beta -**6LiAl and beta -**7LiAl before and after neutron irradiation are presented. The apparent decrease of electrical resistivity after irradiation is observed in beta -**6LiAl, while beta -**7LiAl is invariable. It is deduced that the decrease of electrical resistivity relates with the decrease of scatters due to the filling up of lithium vacancy sites with tritium atoms and alpha particles produced by nuclear reaction of **6Li and thermal neutron.
