Abstract
Magnetic structure on SrMnO3 films has been investigated utilizing neutron magnetic scattering technique. We have succeeded in detecting a magnetic signal at (0.5 0.5 0.5) associated with G-type antiferromagnetic order. The temperature dependence of the signal intensity indicates a second-order transition with the transition temperature, TN~190K. This is a first step of our study of the magnetism in the manganite thin film system.
