Abstract

The electronic states of the non-superconducting Li2CsC60 and the superconducting Li2CsC60 were studied by 133Cs-, 7Li- and 13C-NMR. The results were compared with those of other alkali(A)-doped C60 compounds, A3C60. We could not find any reason for the suppression of superconductivity in Li2CsC60 in the NMR data taken at room temperature. Alternatively, the sp3-like carbons were suggested to exist in Li2CsC60 below ∼160 K.
