Abstract
We have carried out 195Pt-NMR measurements on a heavy Fermion superconductor UPt3 at H∼1.5−2.0T to investigate the in-plane anisotropy in the normal state. For an applied field parallel to [112¯0] direction, split 195NMR line are observed, which has not been reported previously. Such a line splitting is explained by anisotropic Knight shift tensors associated with the local symmetry of Pt-site in UPt3.
