Abstract

In this paper, we have developed a two-phase flow control method, where droplet flow is converted to plug flow, and two-phase of the plug flow is separated completely. This method is effective for high-speed extraction because of high specific interfacial area of the droplets. Furthermore, the flow control method has flexibility for multi-step extraction system.
