A pair of sharp Cu NQR signals and a broad Cu NQR signal, which correspond to Cu1 and Cu2 sites respectively, were observed in Pb cuprate Pb2Sr2Y0.5Cu3O8+y. The spin-lattice relaxation times, T1, of both Cu2 and Pb sites decrease rapidly with decreasing temperature without enhancement just below Tc. The relaxation source for Cu1 is not of magnetic origin, but of quadrupolar type. The Knight shift (+0.28% in the normal state) on Pb NMR decreases with decreasing temperature in the superconducting state.
