N2 - Numerical simulations with a fine grid are conducted in a case study to analyze the whole processes of the tsunami generation induced by a submarine earthquake, the wave propagation, the wave overtopping from coastal structures, and the wave run-up and flooding in a coastal city. This study investigates in detail the effects of disaster prevention facilities on the tsunami run-up and the behavior of the flood flow in an urban area, and it provides the valuable information for establishing the countermeasures against tsunami-induced flood.
