title = "Observation of incoherent diffraction radiation from a single-edge target in the visible-light region",
abstract = "A series of optical diffraction radiation (ODR) experiments were performed. The prime purpose was to investigate the ODR from a single edge target. As such, the intensity of the light from the target as a function of the impact parameter was measured. It was confirmed that light yields at the impact parameter where the beam did not hit the target.",

note = "Funding Information: We thank all members of the KEK-ATF group for technical support and beam operation during this experiment. The authors thank Professor H. Sugawara, Professor Y. Kamiya, and Professor A. Enomoto of KEK for their continuous support and encouragement. One of the authors (A. P.) acknowledges the Advanced Compact Accelerator Project of National Institute of Radiological Sciences for the financial support.",
