Optical add-drop multiplexers based on Si-wire waveguides

Abstract

Ultra-small optical add-drop multiplexers were fabricated with a Si-wire waveguide technology. This paper describes their fundamental characteristics. The wavelength resolution was 0.7 nm, and the length of the devices was 600 μm.
