Abstract

The wavelength tunable liquid crystal image filter is developed for the image analysis. The control of the transmitted spectrum is realized by introducing the new design concept. It is clarified that the compensation of the dispersion property in liquid crystal and the control of the filtering property are possible by usual retardation film.
