Abstract

Magnetoabsorption spectra of RbFeCl3ṡ2H2O have been investigated at high magnetic fields up to 27 T using the Tohoku hybrid magnet. An extra exciton line, which indicates the existence of field-induced boundary, is well explained within the framework of the one-dimensional Ising model.
