Abstract
In this paper, we derive a closed form formula of the joint probability density function (p.d.f) of correlated Rayleigh random variables with arbitrary correlation coefficients. Using this, we analyze the BER performance of DS-CDMA system with Rake combing in correlated Rayleigh fading channel. We find that correlation in multipaths has a deleterious effect on the receiver bit error rate (BER) performance.
