T1 - Power-law growth of liquid- and crystal-droplets in highly charged colloidal suspensions

N2 - We perform the simulations on dilute suspensions of highly charged colloids with the effective Tokuyama potential [M. Tokuyama, Phys. Rev. E 59, R2550-R2553 (1999); Phys. Rev. E 58, R2729-R2732 (1998)]. From the analyses of the time evolution of the average radius R(t) of the droplets and the number density n(t) of colloidal droplets, we show that R(t) obeys the power-law growth in time as R(t) ∼ t1/6, while n(t) decreases in time as n(t) ∼ t-1/2 at the late stage due to Brownian coagulation of the droplets, where R(t)3n(t) =constant.
