N2 - The solid solution systems Cr//1// minus //xMn//xSi//2, Mn//1// minus //xCr//xSi//2, Mn//1// minus //xFe//xSi//2, and Fe//1// minus //xMn//xSi//2 ( alpha -FeSi//2 structure) were prepared and the substitution limit was determined. Temperature dependencies of electrical resistivity and thermoelectric powder were measured, and the possibility of use for humidity sensors is evaluated.
