Abstract

We have two equipments, an old one and new one, for Cardiac Catheterization. We measured exposure dose in cineradiography and fluoroscopy. We did a little improvement and decreased exposure dose. Both exposure dose of the old equipment and exposure dose rate at 1 meter distance were more than 2 times higher than those of the new one. High exposure dose is due to the decay of Luminance value in Image Intensifier. Rising sensitivity of development could decrease the exposure dose of the old equipment. But, nevertheless, the dose is rather high, so we have to solve the problem fundamentally.
