N2 - We have performed ultrasonic measurements of the Kondo compound CexLa1-xB6 at low temperatures. A quenching of the quadrupolar moment of the Λ8 ground state in Ce0.03La0.97B6. A remarkable increase of the ultrasonic attenuation due to the quadrupolar fluctuations in Ce0.5La0.5B6 has been found. The effect of the Kondo singlet formation at very low temperatures is discussed.
