Abstract

We performed resistivity measurements under high pressure for an itinerant Ising- type ferromagnetic compound URhAl in order to investigate the quantum criticality in this compound. We found that the Curie temperature is suppressed with increasing pressure, and URhAl has the critical pressure of ∼ 5.2 GPa. We also observed a non-Fermi-liquid behavior as well as a large enhancement of A-coefficient of resistivity (ρ(T) ρ0 + AT2) near the critical pressure.
