N2 - A new method for determining the MICs for Aspergillus species with slant- shaking incubation is described. The method was rapid (24 h), produced sharp visual end points, and showed high reproducibility. Additionally, MICs measured by this method correlated well with, as well as were two- to sixfold lower than, those by a reference method.
