Abstract

The effects of cold rolling direction and the texture of mother materials on the orientation of thin grain-oriented silicon steel sheets were studied. The thin sheets covered with (110)[0 0 1] texture can be obtained at the cold rolling angles between 0° and 75°. The orientation of the thin silicon steel sheet was affected by rolling direction rather than by a texture of a hot-rolled silicon steel.
