Abstract

The long-chain alkyl groups of new bidentate ligands make it possible to generate nickel MX-chain complexes exhibiting the shortest Ni IIINiIII distance among all MX-chain compounds reported. Dissolution in organic solvents occurs without dissociation of the MX-chain units, and the successful fabrication of thin films is reported.
