Abstract

It is notable that the photoplethysmogram can be extracted by processing the green component of a video signal of a human body taken with a video camera. This is an affordable, remote and non-contact measurement method to obtain not only heart rate but also blood pressure information. In this study, a tool for obtaining the pulse transit time which correlates with blood pressure has been developed. It is expected that this tool can be used to evaluate plural persons' autonomic function using only one video camera.
