Abstract

Based on the test results of metallographic analysis, the metallographic figure characters of four groups of samples were compared, and then the sample density, hardness and bending strength were tested. Considering the properties requirement of metal bond of diamond grinding wheels, the bronze-bonded matrix samples properties were evaluated. The merits and demerits of different samples were given by comparing the metallographic figures characters and mechanical properties. At last, some suggestions were given for the optimization of diamond wheels preparation technology.
