Abstract
We report on transport measurements on the quasi-two-dimensional organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2. We find an extremely sharp resistive transition in fields parallel to the conductive plane, with width much narrower than the zero-field transition. There is a remarkable hysteresis in company with the sharp transition in both the temperature and field dependences of the resistivity. The origins of the sharp transition and hysteresis are discussed.
