Abstract

We investigate the γd→ dπ+π- reaction for a study of a possible NΔ dibaryon state using a deuterium target with a magnetic spectrometer, Neutral Kaon Spectrometer 2 (NKS2), at Research Center for Electron Photon Science (ELPH), Tohoku University. The incident photon energy ranged from 0.78 to 1.08 GeV. Resonance-like structures were found at a mass of ∼2.15GeV/c2 with a width of ∼0.1GeV/c2 in the dπ+ and dπ- invariant mass spectra.
