Searching for t-flavor-changing neutral currents in e+e- annihilation

Abstract

Single top quark production in e+e- annihilation is possible below the tt threshold if there exist appreciable t-flavor-changing neutral current interactions. If the top quark mass is around 40 GeV, the present PETRA storage ring can be used to look for this process.
