Abstract

A novel Pt ion-exchanged H-Zn-silicate bifunctional catalyst was developed, providing an inexpensive catalyst for the selective aromatization of propane. The catalyst was more resistant to catalyst decay due to coke deposition than previous catalysts such as Pt ion-exchanged H-Ga-silicate.
