Abstract

This paper describes multisensor and protectors using magnetic semiconductor ceramics (MSC), which is one kind of ferrite. The MSC's magnetic and electrical properties have temperature, humidity and gas concentration dependence, as well as switching function. Therefore, the use of MSC adds the same function as adding a ferrimagnetic substance, a thermistor, a capacitor and/or a switching element. The new MSC technique and its application are discussed.
