Abstract

The microstructure and the shape memory effect in aged Co-14Al alloy were investigated by means of optical and electron microscopy and a bending test. It was found that a good shape memory effect can be obtained in aged alloys through β (B2) phase precipitation by aging at 500-900 °C.
