Abstract
Real-time sonographic imaging can clearly represent the biliary ascarid as a longitudinal double linear echo. We call this representation an intraductal tubular image. Such imaging allows easy differentiation of the biliary parasite from calcification and other foreing bodies in the biliary tracts.
