Abstract
In this paper, we demonstrate the spin pumping, spin current generation from magnetization dynamics, at an interface between metal Pt and polycrystalline magnetic insulator BixY3-xFe 5O12 (x=0 and 1) prepared by the metal-organic decomposition method. We measured the electromotive force due to the inverse spin-Hall effect induced by the spin pumping in a polycrystalline Y 3Fe5O12/Pt and a polycrystalline BiY 2Fe5O12/Pt films. We found that spin mixing conductance estimated from the magnitude of the electromotive force for the BiY2Fe5O12/Pt is much greater than that for the Y3Fe5O12/Pt.
