Abstract

Three solid solution phases in the SrO-CaO-CuO system, Sr_2-xCa_xCuO₃ (0≤x≤2), Sr-2-1$/Ca_xCuO₂ (0≤x<0.5) and Sr_3-xCa_xCu₅O_y(0≤x≤1.8), were prepared at 1273 K under 0.1 MPa of oxygen. These phases showed semiconducting behavior below 300 K. The highest conductivity of 6.3×10³ S·m^-1 at 300 K measured for Sr_3-xCa_xCu₅O_y (x=1.8).
