Abstract

The fluid flow characteristics in regions I, II and III are discussed. Approximate solutions of fluid flow in regions II and III are presented. Theoretical solutions of heat transfer coefficients for region I are shown graphically at Pr (Prandtl number) equals 0. 1 minus 100. Numerical solutions of heat transfer coefficients for regions II and III with a constant heat flux at the fluid-solid interface are obtained.
