Abstract

Ca3Y3Ge2BO13:Ln3+(Ln = Eu, Tb and Sm) phosphors were synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction method. Eu3+- or Tb3+-doped Ca3Y3Ge2BO13:phosphors showed strong red or green emission under the excitation at 254 nm. Sm3+-doped Ca3Y3Ge2BOi3 phosphor showed reddish-orange emission under the excitation at 405 nm.
