N2 - The transformer ratio and capacitance in an equivalent circuit for an interdigital surface acoustic wave (SAW) transducer are proposed in general form The relation between these parameters and the input admittance for one periodic section of the equivalent circuit is calculated. Then, using calculated values for admittance by H. Engan, the parameters are finally determined as a function of metallized ratio, harmonic number and material-constants. The results are verified by experiments.
