166Er and 155Gd Mössbauer spectroscopy of R-Rh-B (R = Er, Gd) system

The eight compounds of R-Rh-B (R = Er, Gd) system have been studied by 166Er and 155Gd Mössbauer spectroscopy and DC magnetization measurements. Mössbauer spectroscopy revealed the bonding properties, charge distribution around the nucleus of the rare earth elements and the magnetic properties. Magnetic study has been done first for ErRh 2 and ErRh5.
