51V Knight shift of a C15 Laves-phase superconductor HfV2

51V NMR Knight shift K and magnetic susceptibility in the normal state were measured in a C15 Laves-phase superconductor HfV2. The temperature dependence of K is caused by the core-polarization due to 3d spins. The hyperfine coupling constants were obtained as -56.5 kOe/μB for the temperature range between 10 and 50 K, and -158 kOe/μB between 150 and 280 K.
