Abstract

The origin of the high-Tc superconductivity in the oxide superconductor Y-Ba-Cu-O is investigated, by paying attention to a recent experiment showing one-dimensional (1d) diffuse scattering. By calculating the critical temperature Tc for the order parameter of the singlet pairing state with d-symmetry, we show that the 1d charge density wave enhances Tc of anisotropic two-dimensional superconductivity for the non-half-filled case.
