Abstract

The previous study based on driving simulator experiments evaluated the fuel-consumption reduction effects of eco-driving instructions and the introduction of a fuel-consumption meter (FC-meter). Since the sustainability of these effects remains unclear, the present paper conducts simulator experiments to evaluate the long-term effects of the eco-driving instructions and the introduction of an FC-meter on the improvement of fuel economy.
