Abstract

The syntheses of neocarzinostatin-chromophore (NCS-chr) analogues 3 and 4 and esperamicincalichemicin analogue 5 using transannular [2,3]-Wittig rearrangement of 12-membered cyclic ether 6 and their transannular cyclizations are described.
