Abstract

A new cocrystallite, which contains C₇₀ and silver complex of octaethylporphyrin (Ag^II(OEP)), is prepared and characterized. Syn-formed configuration of AgII(OEP) molecule in Ag^II(OEP)C₇₀∗CHCl₃ cocrystallite was observed, suggesting that there is the strong face-to-face π-π interaction between two adjacent silver porphyrin molecules.
