Abstract
Sr4Al14O25:(Eu, Dy)/TiO 2-xNy composites were synthesised via the solvothermal reaction followed by the mild ball-milling, and the photocatalytic activities were evaluated for deNOx ability both under artificial solar irradiation with 69.3 W/m2 and after turning off the light. It was confirmed that TiO2-xNy nanoparticles with rutile phase could be uniformly dispersed on the surface of Sr4Al 14O25:(Eu, Dy). The improvement of photocatalytic deNOx ability of TiO2-xNy, together with the persistent photocatalytic activity for the decomposition of NO gas after turning off the light was realised.
