Abstract

High sensitivity at room temperature. A surface photovoltage (SPV) NO 2 gas sensor was fabricated, with a self-ordered tin-modified MCM-41 film, based on a metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) structure (see picture). A high sensitivity of the tin-modified mesoporous MCM-41 sensor was obtained at an NO2 gas concentration of only 1 ppm at room temperature.
