Abstract

the scintillation response of novel rare-earth pyrosilicate scintillator La-GPS(Ce) are reported. The study was undertaken with the expectation of the applicability of LaGPS(Ce) for well-logging. The basic properties, such as light output and energy resolution in temperatures up to 150 ^{circ}\mathrm {C} are reported. Scintillation performance of this scintillator in a room temperature was also tested.
