Abstract
We investigated usefulness of the 3D-CT angiography (CTA) and the multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) images in lung cancer cases. We performed helical volume dynamic incremental CT with a continuous rotation CT scanner 60 seconds after beginning of administration of contrast media. 3D-CTA images were reconstructed from those transverse images with the volume rendering method. Also MPR images of arbitrary planes were obtained. Those reconstructed images were able to delineate vascular changes of those cases such as stenosis or occlusion of superior vena cava, pulmonary artery. Therefore we concluded that those images are useful for staging of the lung cancer.
