N2 - We report on the low-frequency AC higher harmonic response measurements in the density wave state of the layered organic conductor α-(BEDT-TTF) 2KHg(SCN)4. The non-linear conduction in the longitudinal magnetoresistance is detected as the enhancement of the higher harmonic response. The magnitude of the non-linearity oscillates in the high magnetic field with the same frequency of the Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations. The observation is suggestive of the presence of the successive field-induced transition of the density wave state synchronized with the quantum oscillation in high magnetic fields.
